A worker was killed by lawn tractor that tipped over on a Leamington farm, according to the Ministry of Labour.
MOL spokesperson Janet Deline says they were notified Tuesday just before 4 p.m. of an incident that occurred at Lehn Farms located at 1124 Mersea Road 7.
“The incident involved a worker operating a riding lawn tractor,” said Deline in an email to CTV News. “The tractor tipped over onto the worker. The worker succumbed to their injuries.”
She says an inspector attended the scene and issued two orders.
The investigation is ongoing.
