A 25-year-old worker was injured after an industrial accident on Sprucewood Avenue.
Officers were dispatched to DJ Galvanizing Corporation located in the 300 block of Sprucewood Avenue at 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday.
When police got there, paramedics were already on scene preparing to transport the victim to hospital. Police say he was alert and speaking.
The victim was briefly pinned between two steel coils, say police.
The Ministry of Labour was notified and attended the scene to investigate.
Police later learned that the injuries sustained to the victim were minor.
The facility produces advanced automotive steel.
