The Ministry of Labour has issued four orders after an industrial accident sent a worker to hospital on Wednesday.

Ministry spokesperson, Bruce Skeaff says the orders were issued Thursday to Crest Mold Technology. According to OPP, a worker was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after his boot got caught in one of the factory’s machines.

The MOL has issued the following orders:

  • Providing information, instruction and supervision to workers.
  • The employer providing information to the ministry about a worker’s injury.
  • Cleaning, oiling, repairing or maintaining a machine.
  • A stop work order, attached to the order regarding cleaning, oiling, repairing or maintaining a machine.

The investigation is ongoing.
