Windsor police are looking for two suspects after a woman  was allegedly punched in the face and robbed of her purse in the city’s west end.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when a woman was dropped off by a Transit Windsor bus at Sandwich Street and Brock Street.  After leaving the bus, she was approached by two women, who demanded her purse.

Police say the suspects pulled at her purse and punched her in the face until she let go.  The two then  fled towards Sandwich Street. The victim didn’t require medical attention.

The first suspect is described as a white female, standing 5’7”, 160 pounds with short black hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, plain navy t-shirt and a possible hoop earing in her right ear.

The second suspect is described as a white female, standing 5’6”, 140 pounds with a long curly pony tail. She was last seen wearing baggy jogging pants and a white t-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
