It’s Shrove Tuesday, also called Fat Tuesday or Paczki Day if you're from Windsor.

It's a Christian tradition, where people eat richer or fatty foods before giving them up for lent.

Blak’s Bakery has been at the heart of this tradition for almost a century.

Tony Blak estimates he'll serve somewhere between 27,000 and 32,000 Paczki on Fat Tuesday.

The entire bakery is bursting with family – aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews - all filled with pride in the tradition.

For anyone who didn’t pre-order, Blak’s ran out in the morning, but expected to have more for walk-in customers Tuesday afternoon.

Blak’s is also supplying some 7-Eleven locations, Freds Farm Fresh and some local delis.

Many other local bakeries are also selling special Fat Tuesday treats.
