Windsor police is seeking the public’s help in locating the individual responsible for damaging 50 crypts.

Officers were called to St. Alphonsus Cemetery located in the 700 block of Ottawa Street on Thursday at around 11 a.m.

Through their investigation, police discovered that sometime between the late hours of May 27 and early hours of May 29, the mausoleum located at the cemetery was entered. Police say suspects removed bronze vases, inserts and candle holders within 50 crypts. Several flowers and mementos were broken.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
