Windsor police are looking for two suspects after a man was assaulted in a College Avenue apartment laundry room.

Officers were called to an apartment building located in the 1900 block of College Avenue on Monday at about 9:40 a.m.

When police got there a 48-year-old man was being treated by paramedics.

Police say the victim entered the laundry room and found two men, who appeared to be trying to break into the coin laundry machines with a key.

The victim allegedly confronted the suspects and was assaulted by both of them. Then the suspects allegedly took a quantity of cash out of the victim's wallet and left the area.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a white man, 25-30 years old, 6'1, 250lbs, with medium-length brown hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

The second suspect is described as a white man, 30-35 years old, 5'9, 230-250lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
