Windsor police are looking for help identifying a suspect after they say a 79-year-old man was robbed and assaulted while out for a walk in west Windsor.
Police were sent to a home on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. for a robbery report.
Investigation revealed that at approximately 7:30 a.m., the victim was out for a walk near Felix Avenue and Linwood Place.
The victim told police that at some point a male suspect approached him, assaulted him, and took a small amount of cash and personal items.
Police say the elderly man came home at 8 a.m. with facial injuries and his daughter called the police. He was taken to hospital.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 20-years-old, 5'8” tall, with a thin build, and short blonde hair.
