Windsor police are probing two intentionally set fires on the city’s east side.

Windsor fire crews were called to 4467 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday around 12:39 a.m. Arson investigators say a donation bin is believed to have been intentionally set on fire.

The contents within the box was destroyed, along with a portion of the container. A damage estimate was not released.

A couple hours later, crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of Francois Road around 2:30 a.m. Investigators say fire wood behind a garage was intentionally set. Damage to the structure is estimated at $10,000.

While the two locations are close in proximity, arson investigators are treating them as two unrelated incidents.

Anyone with information that could police in their investigation are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
