Windsor police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store with a steel pipe earlier this week.

Police say on Wednesday, officers attended a store at the 3600 block of Matchette Road for a robbery that just occurred.

Police discovered that shortly after 6 a.m., a suspect entered the store with his face partially covered with clothing. He was carrying a steel pipe, and demanded cash from the employee.

Police say he quickly left the store with a quantity of cash and was last seen running down Prince Road.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-35 years of age. He’s 5’8 tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie with “Adidas” visible across the front of his shirt.
