Windsor police have identified a suspect after a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times in the legs in a downtown alley.
Police say it took place on Monday at 1 a.m., north of Park Street West in the alley between Ouellette Avenue and Pelissier Street.
Officers are actively making attempts to locate the suspect and are in the process of applying for a warrant for his arrest.
In the surveillance video released by police, the suspect and the victim are seen walking south in the alley and stop to engage in conversation. Police say the victim is then shot three times in the leg.
He was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was last seen running north in the alley toward Park Avenue.
