A 24-year-old Windsor man has been arrested after police say his fingerprint was discovered at the scene of a break and enter.

The incident happened on Oct. 17 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at a residence on the 200 block of Sterling Crescent. Windsor police say the house was broken into while the homeowner was away.

Investigators say the suspect gained entry by forcing open a rear window. They recovered a latent fingerprint from the scene. It was submitted to the Automated Fingerprint Identification System.

The print came back positive to a man on Monday and he subsequently arrested without incident.

Devan John Paul Worley, 24, is charged with break and enter.
