A 71-year-old Windsor pharmacist has been charged with fraud after allegedly submitting bills for $116,336 worth of drugs not dispensed.

OPP allege that between 2009 and 2011, billings in the amount of $116,336.88 were submitted to the Ontario Drug Benefit Plan for drug products that were not dispensed.

Ahmed Al Tamimi, a former owner of a Windsor pharmacy, was charged with fraud over $5,000.

He will appear in a Windsor court on Nov. 25, 2015 to answer to the charge.
