A 22-year-old man is facing 86 charges involving 26 alleged victims related to child pornography.

The Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1100 block of Villaire Avenue on September 23, 2014.

Police arrested a suspect and seized two computers and storage media items.

The suspect was charged with possession, accessing and make available child pornography.

The ICE unit continued with their investigation by an analysis of the computers and storage media items.

Police say they located hundreds of videos that consisted of Skype conversations where the suspect would allegedly counsel males to commit various acts while he recorded his computer screen.

The investigation has revealed 26 alleged male victims between the ages of 13 and 21 years of age.

The alleged victims are located worldwide, from Australia and to the U.S.

Police say the videos were recorded between December 2013 and September 2014.

Officers are satisfied that there are no local victims in this investigation.

On July 30, the suspect was arrested without incident at his residence.

Christopher Metivier, 22,of Windsor is charged with the following offences:

-23 counts of Luring a person under the age of 18 for the purpose of making child pornography

-14 counts of Luring a person under the age of 16 for the purpose of facilitating the offence of invitation to Sexual Touching

-5 counts of Luring a person under the age of 16 for the purpose of facilitating the offence of Bestiality

-24 counts of Making Child Pornography

-11 counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching

-5 counts of Inciting Bestiality

-4 counts of Counseling Bestiality

Evidence from the investigation will be turned over to victim identification officers with the Ontario Provincial Strategy in an attempt to identify child victims and provide counseling.

The Windsor Police Service reminds parents to monitor the online activity of their children and encourage the reporting of inappropriate online communication.
