Windsor police closed an east side intersection Friday to deal with a weapons call.
Officers and the emergency services unit responded to an apartment building on Pillette Road and Seminole Street around Noon.
Police received a tip of a domestic altercation and a man had a gun.
After closing the streets, some the residents were evacuated for safety.
Police discovered the gun wasn't actually seen and the altercation took place last night.
A BB gun was located and seized and a 33-year-old man was charged with assault.
Officers say they're still investigating.
