A 32-year-old Windsor man is charged with carrying a concealed weapon after he was allegedly walking down the street with a long gun.

On Sunday, at approximately 9:30 a.m, a Windsor police patrol officer observed a shirtless male walking down the street carrying a red camping chair style bag with a shirt wrapped around an object sticking out the end of the bag. 

The officer observed a silhouette of a rifle stock and believed a long gun was in the bag. 

Officers attended the area near Elliott Street West and Victoria Avenue and quickly put the male under arrest without incident.  

Police immediately seized the concealed combination long gun.

Daniel Parker, 32, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a firearm without holding a licence.
