Those worried about fitting all their holiday trash into a garbage can can breathe a sigh of relief.
The City of Windsor is temporarily lifting their hard-sided garbage container bylaw to help with holiday refuse.
With extra trash expected over the coming day, the city has approved a two-week suspension of the bylaw from Dec. 27 to Jan. 10.
That means any garbage bags weighing less than 44 pounds can be placed on the ground near your trash containers.
The bylaw is back in effeck the week of Jan. 12
