Windsor fire crews were called out to two separate fires in different parts of the city.

In one incident, a person was transported to hospital with burns to their hands described as non-life threatening. It was from a kitchen fire at 3453 St. Patricks Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday.

Damage is estimated at $15,000 from the fire that started on a stove.

Meanwhile, damage is estimated at $2,500 for a fire at 810 Ouellette Ave, which started about the same time.
