Parking in Windsor may soon get a little easier.
The City of Windsor is seeking approval from council to pass an alternate parking option.
The new system would allow people to use pay-by-phone apps at city-owned lots and parking metres, which are becoming increasingly popular across the region.
Many cities like Toronto and Detroit already use these aps.
If council approves the recommendation, the service could be implemented as early as next year.
