Windsor's jobless rate has dropped again.

Stats Canada says the unemployment rate in the Rose City fell to 6.2 per cent in July, down from 6.4 per cent in June.

The Canadian economy lost a total of 31,200 jobs in July, which marked the largest one month drop in five years. The news was worse than analysts had expected as the unemployment rate climbed nationally to 6.9 per cent, up from 6.8 per cent.

Ontario's jobless rate is unchanged from June at 6.4 per cent.
