A Strong Wind Warning is in effect for Western Lake Erie as 2 metre waves are possible today through Wednesday.
Boaters should take extreme caution if heading out on the waters as 20 knot winds from the southeast will increase to 25 from the southwest by noon. The wind is expected to remain near 15 knots until Wednesday evening.
Waves on Lake Erie are expected to build up to two metres Tuesday.
A Wind Warning is also in effect for Lake St. Clair with winds up to 20 knots Tuesday. Waves are expected to reach as high as a metre as well.
Rain on Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair will add to hazardous conditions Tuesday.
