The wetland habitat created by the Essex Region Conservation Authority is continuing to grow near Holiday Beach.
Enbridge and ERCA have planted trees, shrubs and other plants at the one-acre site.
The area is a controlled wetland habitat that will improve water quality by reducing phosphorus runoff.
Officials also hope the wetland will serve as a demonstration project to inspire other landowners to recreate the same type of wetland on their properties.
