Huey Lewis

The Grammy-award winning band Huey Lewis and the News is bringing its catalogue of hits to Caesars Windsor tonight. Their most successful album, Sports, was released in 1983 and catapulted to worldwide fame.  It included chart-topping songs “The Power of Love,” “I Want A New Drug” and “The Heart of Rock & Roll”. There are still a few tickets available.

Windsor-Walkerville Fringe Festival

The second annual Windsor-Walkerville Fringe Festival kicks off tonight at the The Olde Walkerville Theatre. The festival features local, regional and international artists performing live theatre, music, dance, comedy, and improv.  This year’s shows include A Girl Like Me, Baba Yaga, Bedwetter and more. Tickets are $11 and up.

Fiesta Latina

A celebration of Latin culture returns to downtown Windsor. Fiesta Latina features live music, dance, interactive children’s workshops, vendors and sidewalk cafes. The festival takes place on Pelissier Street on Saturday.

WSO Free Summer Concerts

The WindsorSymphony Orchestra is continuing its free outdoor concerts. A brass quintet is planned at King’s Navy Yard Park in Amherstburg on Saturday and at the Windsor Sculpture Park on Sunday. Organizers are reminding residents to bring a lawn chair.  Please note: weather may affect the outdoor concerts.
