A look at Windsor-Essex entertainment for April 20 – April 23.

Rascal Flatts

This country music trio formed in Columbus Ohio, back in 1999, now it looks like the “broken road” is leading to Windsor.  Rascal Flatts is performing at the Colosseum on Friday at 9 p.m. The band one of is the most awarded country groups of the past decade, earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more.  Hit songs include “What Hurts the Most”, “I like the Sound of That” and “Bless the Broken Road”. The band has a new album “Back to Us” available May 19. If you didn’t buy tickets already, you’re probably out of luck – the Caesars Windsor show is sold out.

Jackson Browne

An American music legend is also coming to the casino, Jackson Browne Performing will perform a live acoustic set on The Colosseum stage tonight, with Sara and Sean Watkins on his (Pretty Much) Acoustic tour. Browne rose to fame in the 1970’s and has sold over 18 million albums. Some of his hits are "Somebody’s Baby”, “Running on Empty” and "These Days". There are still a few tickets available.

Windsor Symphony Orchestra

Windsor Symphony Orchestra is presenting its Fire & Water performances.  It features Handel’s Water Music Suite no. 2 and Telemann’s Water Music Suite paired with Haydn’s Symphony no. 59, “Fire.” Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto will be performed by Lillian Scheirich. Elvis Tribute fundraiser

Windsor Scouts are benefitting from an Elvis Tribute show. Proceeds from “One Night with Norm Ackland Jr” are going towards the 66th Windsor Scouts Trip to the Canadian Jamboree in Nova Scotia. The multi-award winning tribute artist will be showcasing the King’s hits at Rockstar Bar on Central Avenue.

Frankie and Johnny 

Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune is set to start at the SHO Art Spirit and Performance theatre. A waitress and a short-order cook take a tumble into bed on their first date and then slowly reveal themselves to each other. Co-producer Peter --- says it is a funny and heartfelt play that was a hit on Broadway.
