A New York State man has been charged after several weapons were seized at the Ambassador Bridge.

On July 21, a man crossing the Ambassador Bridge into Canada had his vehicle stopped and searched by Canadian Border Services Agency officers.

It was during this search that CBSA officials say they discovered a revolver, a replica revolver, a push dagger and a brass-knuckle type weapon. Officers also seized a container of muzzle-loading propellant, a box of lead round balls and 16 grams of suspected marijuana.

Thomas Williams, 31, of New York State is charged with non-report of goods, possession of prohibited goods and smuggling.
