A photo of a Ministry of Transportation vehicle parked on a pedestrian bridge over Cabana Road West is making the rounds on social media.

Scott St. Denis posted a picture of the car on the bridge on his Facebook page and shared it with CTV Windsor on Twitter.

It shows an MTO car on a bridge intended for non-vehicular traffic.

A spokesperson with the ministry says the picture shouldn't come as a surprise because the MTO is still working on the trail system.

Lesley Racicot says staff have the authorization to drive on the trail system and for now it remains off limits to pedestrians.

Racicot adds the bridges are designed to hold the weight of vehicles.
