The president of the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance says council will decide next Thursday whether to hold a second vote on a controversial referendum.

The recent BDS referendum "wasn't carried out correctly", according to the university's lawyer. Raj Anand substantiated five allegations that surrounded the processing of the referendum. He says there weren't enough valid signatures to hold the referendum.

The Palestinian Solidarity Group put forth the referendum which called for a boycott of products and companies originating, or doing business with Israel.

Some Jewish students on campus feel the motion had a racist intent.

If the students’ alliance decides to rule out another referendum, they are welcoming a challenge of the decision.
