After a trio of stabbings over the weekend, Windsor police are still searching for one suspect, but investigators have now laid charges against two others.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 100 block of California Avenue in relation to a stabbing.

Police say it took place on Sunday at 3:30 a.m.

A 21-year-old victim was transported by EMS to hospital. He received a stab wound in the back that required surgery due to a collapsed lung. Police arrested the woman at the scene.

Officers executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered a knife. The victim remains in hospital and his condition is stable. Police say the victim and accused are known to each other.

In an unrelated incident, a 19-year-old Windsor man was charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault after a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the 5400 block of Lassaline Avenue at 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

The other stabbing took place around 7 p.m. Saturday. Police say a 48-year-old man was stabbed in the 400 block of Wyandotte Street.

The victim told police the stabbing took place in his apartment unit. Police are looking for two suspects.
