Windsor police are investigating two alleged knife-point robberies in the city.

The first took place on Monday night at a Mac’s convenience store in the 3800 block of Dougall Avenue. The second happened on Tuesday in the 1100 block of Tecumseh Road East.

Const. Andrew Drouillard says police believe the robberies are connected, but they are still looking into other possibilities.

On Tuesday, officers were called to Tecumseh Road East for a report of two people bursting into a Petro Canada.

Police say one of the suspects threatened the clerk with a knife. No one was injured, but a quantity of cash is reported to have been taken.

Police are looking for two suspects. The first suspect is a white male, 5'7, wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and boots, and a gray scarf.

The second suspect is female, 5'2", wearing dark blue hooded coat, gray jogging pants and white shoes.

In the alleged robbery at the Mac’s, officers spoke to an employee at the store.  Investigation revealed that a suspect entered the store with his face concealed with a hat and a scarf.

Police say the suspect approached the counter while holding a small knife and demanded cash.  He then quickly left the store with a small quantity of cash.

He is described as a white man, 30 years old, 5'6", with a medium build. He was wearing a tan jacket with a hood, baseball hat, gray scarf, gray pants and brown hiking shoes.
