A transport truck has jackknifed across Highway 401 near Comber, sending the driver to hospital.
Police say the single-vehicle crash took place around 10:10 a.m. on the 401 near 77 Hwy in Lakeshore.
The truck was westbound on the 401 near the 45 mile marker when it lost control and jacked-knifed across the westbound lanes, according to OPP.
The driver of the tractor trailer has been sent by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of the 401 were closed for about an hour at the Highway 77 (Comber Road) exit.
Police are still investigating what happened.
