Essex County OPP say a transport truck rolled onto its side and into a ditch on Highway 401 near Tilbury Tuesday afternoon.
Police say it happened on the 401 eastbound on ramp near Essex County Road 42.
Essex and Chatham-Kent OPP, Windsor-Essex EMS and Lakeshore Fire attended the scene of the crash.
Police say the truck involved lost control and rolled onto its side into a ditch.
The driver of the truck was taken to an area hospital as a precaution. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The on ramp is closed, but Highway 401 remains open, with reduced lanes.
