Three people were arrested after a Windsor police seized a rifle, Taser and opioid pills from a Janette Avenue home.

As part of a drug trafficking investigation on Tuesday, members of the drugs and gun unit obtained a CDSA search warrant for a residence located in the 1300 block of Janette Avenue. 

At about 3:15 p.m., the 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old female associated to this address were seen driving in a black Dakota pick-up a short distance away from the residence.  

With the assistance of the Emergency Service Unit, officers conducted a vehicle stop and placed the man and under arrest. 

Police say a quantity of drugs was seized incident to arrest.  A third man associated to this address is also wanted on a warrant as a result of the investigation.

 Officers seized the following items: a Winchester Rifle, ammunition, Taser, a functioning digital scale and four hydromorphone pills.

Rainbow Mackay, 26, from Windsor is charged with possession of firearm without a licence and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Kristopher Pillon, 32, from Windsor is charged with possession of firearm without a licence and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle.

Christopher Royal, 30, from Windsor is wanted on warrant for possession of firearm without a licence and possession of prohibited/restricted weapon or prohibited device knowing no authority.

Police say other firearm related charges are pending.
