Thieves in several break-ins overnight Thursday into Friday in Chatham-Kent stole tools, chocolate bars and liquor.

Police said thousands of dollars worth of tools were taken from a garage and trailer on King Street West and Richmond Street respectively.

In a break-in at an office on St. Clair Street, thieves took a box of chocolate bars and caused $500 damage to the building.

And early Saturday morning, suspects forced their way into a business on Keil Drive, taking five bottles of liquor, valued at $200. The damage to the building was $300.
