Windsor police say there were five break-ins along Wyandotte Street E. overnight Saturday.

Willistead Restaurant was one of the places hit, around 4 a.m. It has been hit three times in two years, the owner says.

Windsor police characterize the break-ins as smash and grabs.

Although there were few items taken, business owners are frustrated.

"They come in, they smash whatever is on the countertop...and grab two bottles for their trouble," says Willistead owner Mark Boscariot.

"It's been a rash in the last two weeks. This is the sixth break-in that I've heard of."

Other businesses hit include Malic's Restaurant and Delicatessen and Marina Fish and Chicken.

They say the suspects are still at large.
