Windsor police say a suspect used a large umbrella to conceal his identity during a pharmacy robbery on Wednesday.

Officers were called to Dougall Pharmacy located in the 3000 block of Dougall Avenue for a robbery that just occurred around 2 p.m.

Police say investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store, approached the employee at the front counter and demanded narcotics.

The suspect had his identity concealed by clothing and was also holding a large green and white "golf style" umbrella to shield his identity, say officers.

The suspect allegedly jumped over the front counter and took a quantity of drugs and returned to the counter and demanded cash.  He quickly left the store with a quantity of drugs and money.

He was last seen heading eastbound through the plaza walkway where he discarded the umbrella.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30's to early 40's, with a medium build, 5'5-5'8, wearing a black hoody, baseball hat, black leather jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.
