Essex County OPP are asking for public help to identify a male wanted in connection with a theft at the Canadian Tire store in Leamington.
Officers were called to the store at 262 Erie Street South on Wednesday after reports of a theft.
Around 12:20 p.m., a male entered the store, grabbed a shopping cart and went to the tool section where he put a Dewalt compound mitre saw into his cart. He then allegedly proceeded to exit the store with the saw in his cart and failed to pay for the item.
The suspect is described as a white male with short dark hair, wearing an orange t-shirt and black pants with dark shoes.
