A special weather statement has ended for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
After a day of severe thunderstorm watches and warnings, Environment Canada issued the special weather statement for the region.
The statement forecast showers and thunderstorm for much of Southwestern Ontario – starting Tuesday morning and running into the afternoon.
This system was thought to bring about thunderstorms that may produce 20 to 40 millimetres of heavy rain within a short period.
