A 25-year-old Harrow man is in critical condition after a serious snowmobile crash in Amherstburg.
Amherstburg police say the crash took place on River Canard in the early morning hours on Sunday.
Police say the man was the lone rider of the machine, which struck a train bridge near the 2nd Concession. The rider was ejected and the machine burst into flames.
Police say speed is believed to be a factor, but it is unknown whether alcohol was a involved.
The man is listed in critical condition at Windsor Regional Hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
