A Blenheim man is facing impaired driving charges, after getting on the wrong side of Mother Nature, and ultimately police Tuesday.

According to Chatham-Kent police, officers were called to Cundle Line shortly after 1:30 a.m.  A resident awoke to the sound of a truck revving its engine, after getting stuck in deep snow. Upon arrival, police say the man was still in his vehicle and showed signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters, for a breath test.

A 55-year-old is charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
