Six men are facing charges after Windsor police seized a variety of drugs and guns in an east Windsor raid.

Members of the drug and gun unit obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 1000 block of Albert Road on Tuesday. At about 5 p.m., police entered the residence and found six people and arrested them without incident.

Officers say they found a 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, rifle, various ammunition, 19 various pellet guns, 2.5 grams of cocaine, 251.9 grams of psilocybin, 40 ecstasy pills, and a quantity of cash. The combined street value of the seized drugs is $3,836.

The semi-automatic shotgun had been reported stolen in a break and enter on Nov. 2, 2012 from a residence in the 1700 block of Balfour Boulevard, say police.

A 24-year-old man and a 51-year-old man, of Windsor are each facing three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, and one count of possession of a firearm without holding a licence.

Four males, ages 49, 26, 18 and 26, are each facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation is ongoing and may result in further criminal charges.
