The Member of Parliament for Windsor West has reintroduced his single-sport betting bill to the House of Commons.

MP Brian Masse raised the matter in the house again on Wednesday.

The bill would legalize single-sports betting in Canada.

The NDP first proposed the bill in 2011.

It passed in the House of Commons, but then became bogged down in the senate for three years, where it died.

Masse estimates the bill would create between 100 and 200 jobs at Caesars Windsor.
