A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada says the development of severe weather is possible Friday afternoon. The weather authority says this system could produce strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
If severe weather does roll into our area, Environment Canada is asking people to take cover.
