A severe thunderstorm warning has ended for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada stated conditions were favourable for a thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain. The weather authority says hail was also a possibility.
The system hit the region Tuesday afternoon. A possibility remains for more activity into the evening.
Severe thunderstorms run the possibility of producing tornadoes.
