Several delays reported at Windsor elementary schools due to picketers

Several parents and teachers at Windsor Catholic elementary schools were reporting delays Thursday morning due to picketing support staff workers.

Unifor Local 2458 members promised not to picket outside of local high schools Thursday because of a scheduled Grade 10 Literacy test, which is required to graduate.

It appears elementary schools were targeted instead.

There are 370 clerical workers, technicians, custodians, maintenance and office staff with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board who started striking on Monday.
