Police are investigating another robbery at a Windsor area Subway Restaurant, which they believe was pulled off by the same suspect.

On Thursday around 10:35 p.m. officers attended the Subway Restaurant in the 7800 block of Tecumseh Road East.

Through their investigation, police say they learned the suspect entered the store, approached the counter with his hands in his pockets and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount of money was handed over – a weapon was not seen.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, standing 5’5” with a slender build, and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball hat, dark jeans and a red hoodie with a large white letter on the front.

A similar robbery took place on Monday at a Subway in the 1100 block of Ouellette Avenue. Police believe the suspect is responsible for both robberies.

Investigators are hoping surveillance video will aid in the apprehension of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
