RCMP are warning of a telephone scam that sees callers impersonate Mounties in an effort to get money.
Police say the callers threaten arrest if a fine or other fee isn't paid within 24 hours.
In most cases, the number for RCMP appears on the call display.
RCMP say officers don't contact people to collect fines or taxes.
