A Windsor man is facing several charges, following an RCMP bust on Friday.

According to investigators, RCMP officers arrested a 26-year-old man near the intersection of Rooney Street and Campbell Avenue Friday afternoon.

As a result, the Mounted Police seized 44 g of cocaine, 168g of marijuana, 37g of suspected methamphetamine, $1,890 in Canadian cash, brass knuckles and a 2013 Dodge Avenger.

“TheWindsor detachment of the RCMP remains committed to safe homes and safe communities. Our investigators continue to work hard to address the dangers inherent within the illegal drug trade,”said Insp. Serge Cote.

The Windsor resident is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on July 28.
