It should be a big week ahead for Chrysler and the employees at the Windsor assembly plant.

Multiple sources tell CTV News that production is about to start on the new Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

The vehicle was first unveiled to the public at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.

Sources say that the Pacifica will begin rolling off the line this week. However, that doesn't mean these vehicles will be on the market soon.

Testing still needs to be done and the company has yet to price the vehicle.

There has been no confirmation from Chrysler Canada at this time.
