Three people have been arrested after Windsor police executed an ignition lock through ONSTAR to stop a stolen pickup truck.

On Monday, officers attended a residence in the 900 block of Westminister Boulevard for a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant told officers that his 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck was stolen from his driveway overnight and that he was a subscriber to ONSTAR.

A short time later, officials with ONSTAR located the vehicle in the area of Vera Place and Church Street -- placing an ignition lock on the vehicle.

Officers attended the area and located the vehicle in the 400 block of Vera Place. Police also witnessed a female seated in the driver’s seat and male in the passenger seat. Both were placed under arrest.

Officers located a third suspect in a nearby alley, and place him under arrest.

A 27-year-old Windsor woman is charged with possession of stolen property. She was released from custody on the promise to appear in court in July.

The passenger, John Miles, 31, and the man located in the alley, Derek Ochoa, 40 is also charged with possession of stolen property.
