Windsor police have seized both vehicles involved in Wednesday afternoon's drive-by shooting on Howard Avenue.

Investigators say it was a targeted incident and was not a random act.

They have identified persons of interest and they are known to each other, according to detectives.

Officers were called to Howard near Erie Street on Wednesday around 2:15 p.m. for shots fired.

Police say a passenger in a green Toyota fired two shots at a black Jaguar and a stray bullet hit a red Nissan behind. The Toyota and the Jaguar fled the area.

When police arrived, they saw a red Nissan facing northbound on Howard with fresh damage to the windshield. The Nissan driver gave police the dash cam video showing the shooting.

Police continue to investigate.
